Bottle Spells

Bottle and Jar container spells are found in various forms of folk magic throughout the world. Their near universal popularity stems from the fact that they are extremely effective forms of magic. To construct a bottle spell in the hoodoo tradition, the practitioner collects a number of herbs, minerals, curios, etc that will help with your case, and place them one by one into the bottle. As they do this, they pray or speak their intents, tying all the energies together into one force. A petition paper is then prepared, which further outlines what effect the practitioner wants the bottle to have, and may also include the personal concerns (hair, fingernails, picture, etc) of the person for whom the bottle's effects are being aimed. This petition is then placed into the bottle with all the fixed herbs, and the bottle sealed. The bottle is now fixed and ready to be worked. This process creates a magical microcosm within which the target person is surrounded on all sides by the energies herbs, curios, etc, which permeate every aspect of their life. The fact that the bottle is sealed intensifies this effect, as the spell energy is concentrated around the target. At this point some people simply let the bottle sit on an altar as a power object, and let it passively create the effect they are waiting for, or allow it to act as a kind of "battery" storing that energy until they wish to access it through meditation, ritual, or otherwise working the bottle at a later date. They can also be buried in one's yard to permanently anchor those energies to the homestead, or be buried at the roots of a healthy tree or plant so that as the plant grows it will grow the energies of the bottle spell as well. However actively working the bottle brings swift results and is more appropriate in cases where movement is needed in the near future. A bottle spell can be worked in many different ways, but two of the most common are by heating it, or by shaking it. Bottles may be heated by dressed candles being burnt on their lids, with the heat hyper-activating the energies inside, and drawing it up and out of the bottle for it to manifest in the universe at large. This method of candle burning can work with almost any bottle spell. Bottles can also be shaken, and may be worked in this way when you need to "shake some sense" into the target being worked on, or otherwise are looking to "shake things up". Praying or stating one's intents while vigorously shaking the bottle can be extremely effective in getting results from stubborn parties. Then of course, practitioners can get creative - I liked to have a fixed vigil candle burning for my intent, over the flame of which I heat a jar, and then shake it while it's hot. This can be done repeatedly and as often as you like or need while the vigil light burns. Honey jars are a fantastic form of bottle spell that employs the sweetness of honey in order to sweeten a person or situation to our favor. They are gentle, and yet extremely effective. Honey jars can be used for love, influence, success, money, court case work, family tranquility, and much more! Prepared in much the same way a bottle spell is, the herbs, roots, and petition is set right down into a jar full of honey, so that all the items are soaked and permeated with sweetness. Honey jars are traditionally worked by burning dressed candles on top of them three times per week. There's far too much to tell about Bottle and Jar spells than I can get into here. We offer this as a stand-alone service for those who wish to obtain a personalized bottle spell, but don't feel the need to have a full magical consultation on their situation. In other words - they know what they want! I am happy to make bottle spells for nearly any positive purpose, but I will *NOT* craft double-cross, crossing, break-up, sexually or emotionally binding, or aggressively coercive bottles. All clients wishing to have a custom bottle spell created for them must be able to supply at least some kind of personal concern. Our custom bottle spells are created and fixed specifically for your personal needs by an experienced hoodoo practitioner, using traditional conjure/rootwork techniques. It includes a mini-reading on your situation, and a 3mL bottle of custom blended condition oil to dress the candles you may burn on top of the bottle, as well as instructions for using your specific bottle. To determine the best ingredients for your bottle spell, a detailed background of your situation will be requested, and a reading will be performed to see what currents are most strongly at play, and what herbs, roots, and curios would be most appropriate for obtaining your intent. A custom condition oil blend will be used to dress the bottle contents to amplify their effect. After the proper ingredients are ascertained for your bottle spell, the bottle will be fixed on the appropriate planetary day and hour. A candle dressed for your intents will be burned on the bottle to help awaken and "heat" it up. The buyer will be provided with complete instructions for working their specific bottle - and also of how to properly dispose of it at the conclusion of the work.
